What changes in Standard?

Standard is not a separate compatibility tier. Evaluation is meant to let you test TdmsSlice with your own files before purchasing.

  • The same core TDMS reading and supported data types as Evaluation
  • The same Quick Preview, time handling, metadata features, and safety behavior
  • The same range-selection workflow using the original Channel sample index
  • CSV export with companion metadata JSON

Register once, then use TdmsSlice offline

Standard registration is a local step. Normal TdmsSlice use does not require online activation or recurring license validation.

    Purchase Standard

    The purchase flow will provide the Standard license file together with the product instructions.

    Register in TdmsSlice

    Use Register Standard... and select the supplied license file. Validation is performed locally.

    Continue working offline

    After successful registration, normal use does not depend on an activation service or recurring online checks.

Perpetual use of your purchased version

A purchased Standard 1.x license does not expire. If fixes or improvements for Standard 1.x are published, they can be used with that license.

Update frequency, release timing, and permanent support for future operating systems are not guaranteed. A future major version may require a separate license.

Bug reports and feature requests are welcome

Feedback can help improve TdmsSlice, but Standard does not include a guaranteed human-support entitlement.

Individual replies, investigation, fixes, feature implementation, or response times are not guaranteed.
